If you’re expecting a baby — congratulations! Pregnancy is such a special time in your life, and a maternity photoshoot is the perfect way to capture the beauty of your growing bump and the excitement of what’s to come.

“When should I book my maternity session?”
📅 Book Early – Around Your 20-Week Scan
To secure your spot, I recommend booking your maternity photoshoot just after your 20-week scan. My diary fills up quickly, especially in spring and autumn, so booking early guarantees you a slot at the ideal time.
🤰 Best Time for Your Session: Between 27–32 Weeks
The sweet spot for maternity photography is usually between 27 and 32 weeks pregnant — and here’s why:
- Your bump is a beautiful size. It’s big enough to show off clearly in photos, but not too heavy or uncomfortable just yet.
- You can still move around easily. This means we can do a wider variety of poses, standing and seated, both in studio and outdoors.
- You’ll still feel confident and comfortable. Most pregnancy weight is gained in the final weeks, so you’re likely to feel more energetic and fit at this stage.
- You’ll receive your photos before baby arrives. My turnaround time is up to 4 weeks — perfect for sharing with loved ones or printing before the big day!
- Babies sometimes arrive early! Leaving your session too late can mean missing out if your little one decides to come ahead of schedule.
